Hi, I am using V22 (updated May 2016) on Windows 10.
When processing sales and purchase invoices if I need to alter the default nominal code the machine gets stuck.The code I have over typed flickers for several seconds (sometimes a minute) before moving on to the next cell. Using it this morning, I went over to a spreadsheet while it was doing this and it got completely stuck. I had to go into task manager and close the program thus losing a whole bunch of postings.
Any ideas please?

Anti virus interference.

Set the prescribed exclusions in your anti virus product.

Check the vault for any sage files that may have been quarantined. If needed re install sage.

I've just upgraded to V23 and this is happening to an accounts user. So it was working fine with V22. Will this still be an anti-virus issue ?77

If it is the AV then it is a rogue definition, definitions change daily.

Eliminate the probable and make your accounts more secure long term by doing the AV exclusions first.

We had issues with BitDefender causing similar problems (and a couple of others!) recently. Worth a quick uninstall to save yourself going crazy.
